Makes one drink

What goes in

  • ¾ oz rye whiskey
  • ¾ oz cognac
  • ¾ oz sweet vermouth
  • 1 teaspoon Bénédictine
  • 2 dashes Aromatic bitters
  • 2 dashes Angostura aromatic bitters

How to mix it

  1. Add every ingredient to a mixing glass filled with ice.
  2. Stir until the mixture is cold and the flavors have softened with dilution.
  3. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Taste before adding any garnish.

Refrigerate opened vermouth. Its condition matters as much as the small measures of liqueur and bitters.
